Our local paper, The Reader, has
called it a day after a year of production. High printing costs and cut-throat advertising are to blame. Quality articles and opinion cost more than inept translations from the Spanish dailies and puff from the Internet. My thanks to David for a fun year. Así las cosas. Now the survivors can go back to being what they always were. Wretched.
My essays continue on
Spanish Shilling. There's even less entertainment, commentary and hard information about our area from now, so support what's left (see
Donate button above)!
