With the temperatures in the high thirties, it's fire-starter weather, a pyromaniac's dream. Since the ecologists wouldn't let us burn anything after March 15th, there is a ton of underbrush. In Valencia, an enormous fire - 'the worst in a decade' - remains out of control.
The weather is due to cool down, at least in Mojácar, by tomorrow...
