'One of the largest and most expensive...', begins
the article in today's Ideal. The new Mojácar football stadium, inaugurated today at a price of 1,750,000 euros, is well worth it, according to the Lady Mayor, because of its sporting, social and, uh, tourist use. Come on you foreigners, book your holidays and bring along a football team... Actually, I'm not sure we have one of our own yet, better bring two teams just in case...
Where was I?
Certainly, the location - on Mojácar's front line next to the riverbed, couldn't be better, or indeed more obvious. The Opposition think they could have spent a little less, putting a simpler field in a quieter zone.
And spending something on finding a team and a trainer.
Meanwhile, the Art Museum remains unopened, short of just 13,000 euros.
