The Royal son-in-law, Iñaki Urdangarin, caught in his own mess, has offered to pay 3.7 million euros to the Courts if this will avoid him going to jail. Urdangarin, who misappropriated funds including charity monies, has offered to accept his guilt in the 'Caso Noos' together with the payment, in exchange for a slap on the wrist. He is facing eight years if the Judge won't play ball (although this would stop an embarrassing royal fiasco as more information on the issue would not be forthcoming following an agreement).
