The single opposition councillor for the PSOE in Mojácar, Manuel Zamora, is putting the blame for the drop in tourism business this year squarely on Rosmari Cano, our mayoress, and has
called for her resignation describing her mandate as 'irresponsible, awkward and very damaging for tourism'. This, because of the
botellones - the merry drinking on the beach rather than in the bars that the penurious kids evidently prefer. In fact, Zamorra and the two other opposition parties, Jessica's MSM and Gas Station Diego's UM, all want to
extend the bar hours, in some way hoping that this will calm things down.
I personally think that Rosmari is a bad mayor for Mojácar, for all kinds of reasons, but I wonder who Manuel thinks might take her place?
